RILEY'S REVIEW FALLING FOR HIS BEST FRIEND...BY KATEE ROBERT

"The truth is, I was scared shitless. I was just coming to terms with that fact that i'm in love with your crazy ass, when suddenly I'm understanding exactly what pushed my dad over the edge - because I can see myself going the same route if I lost you." His eyes looked so bleak that, against all reason, she wanted to hug him. "Loving someone so much and losing them - I can't even blame him for losing his shit anymore."

Avery Yeung is running out of time. Her biological clock is ticking like nobody's business, so she decides to have a baby with the help of a frozen pop. Avery's mom passed away quickly from cancer. The same cancer that caused Avery's sister Alexis to need a complete hysterectomy at age twenty eight. Avery knows she carries the genetic marker for this devastating cancer and believes if she's going to have a baby, it's now or never.

Drew Flannery is Avery's best friend since childhood. Drew is the town sheriff and he happens to be the town's most eligible bachelor. A title he plans to keep because he has no intention of ever settling down with one woman. Until...

Avery took a deep breath and said, "I'm having a baby." These four words were enough to send Drew Flannery's world spinning off it's axis.

But that's not even the first clue we get from Drew that he has feelings other than friendship for Avery. Even as he walks into Chilly's to meet her for dinner he stops and drinks her in before he even sits down. Then of course he reprimands himself for having those thoughts about his partner in crime.

There's something that drives Drew even more crazy than the thought of Avery being pregnant. The thought of Avery being pregnant with another man's baby is just too much for him. Not to mention thinking about Avery making a baby with another man. Drew has not yet discovered Avery plans to go the in vitro route.

The only solution that makes any sense to Drew is to offer his services to be the donor for Avery. He's happy when Avery accepts his offer and confused when she takes him to a clinic. When Drew realizes his job is to do his business in a cup, he grabs Avery's hand and high tails it out of the clinic, takes Avery home and tells her if they're going to do this, they're going to do it right.

And that's exactly what they do. Drew Flannery has definite skills when it comes to pleasuring a woman. He is sexy and very giving and Avery takes it all. When they finally get together, they're so into each other, they never make it to the bedroom. Nope, their first time is on Avery's kitchen counter and guess what? Drew can not wait for it to happen again.

I absolutely would not mind baby making duty with Drew Flannery. He is supremely yummy and very sexy between the sheets and on the kitchen counter... *wink, wink*

After an incredibly steamy kitchen encounter, awkward vibes send Drew out the door not quite knowing what's going to happen next. Avery and Drew are definitely attracted to each other, but they both think the other couldn't possibly feel the same way. Not to mention their fear of losing the friendship they've had since first grade.

There are other obstacles in the way of our would be parents. Drew has seen how loving someone so much and losing them can destroy a person. He watched his dad self destruct after losing his mom. And Avery has grandparents that are rigid and stuck in their old ways that will be completely disappointed with her choice to have a baby before marriage. Not to mention her choice for a dad is one that will not be pleased with.

What happens when you find yourself falling in love with your best friend? Do you go for it? Do you run like hell because the thought of it scares you? You have to read Falling for His Best Friend to find out.

Avery is a strong woman who knows what she wants and Drew Flannery is totally swoon worthy as the best friend who knows exactly what he wants but is afraid to take it.

A four lip smack review for Katee Robert and Falling for His Best Friend.
