EMILY'S REVIEW FINLEY...BY ELLA FRANK

Finley is a spin off from the Temptation series, but you do not need to read it before you read Finley.  Honestly, if you like m/m and you haven’t read Try Take and Trust, I highly recommend it!  Ella Frank has once again managed to make me fall in love! David Finley and Brantley Hayes are 2 of the most wonderful, honest and simply loving characters I’ve ever read!  This story was so real, it was so heartbreaking and heartwarming all at once.  Told from each man’s POV as well as in the past and present made it a unique and wonderful story.

“It’s time to come home Finn”…… That’s what starts it all!  Finn who is living in Chicago receives this note in the mail and he knows exactly where it comes from.  7 years ago Finn left his home in Florida with a broken heart and feeling completely blindsided and betrayed by the man he loved, his college professor;
Brantley Hayes.  Brantley sent Finn, his student and lover to find his own way in the world, fearing he was holding the young man back.

7 years later Brantley wants Finn to come back home.  Neither man ever really got over the other. One is determined to rekindle those feelings, while the other wants to get him out of his system.  Because Ella wrote this story from dual POV’s it really allows the reader to get a true feeling for what both Brantley and Finn are feeling towards one another.  I think it also makes us feel the hurt, pain, desire and love that each man feels.  I also absolutely love how we get such an in depth view into their past life together.  I felt I really understood the deep love they shared for each other.

Another reason I loved the way Ella Frank wrote this book was that she really showed how the men grew.  Finn, who was once the sweet young boy has now become a very HOT dominant man and boy, did Brantley like him this way.  Brantley, who once had to hide his love for Finn was now able to be free in their relationship.  Both men grew in years and professionally but never forgot the deep love they shared!  And what a surprise that we were given the gift of some Logan and Tate in here too!!

Finley by Ella Frank was a loving, hope inspiring and wonderful story of how true love really does last forever!! My heart felt happy reading this book, and so I give it 5 sexy, loving and sweet lip smacks!
