LA REVIEWS FALLEN HEIR...BY ERIN WATT

Yes, it's official! I have once again been ruined by the Royals! Who knew that beneath that sexy, charming, I just want to get laid and have a good time personality, Easton Royal has much deeper emotions than you could ever guess?

Fallen Heir is Easton's story and let me tell you, it gives us a whole new side of Easton and a lot of clues that will have you saying hmmmmmmm.

But let's talk about Easton. He's super hot, super rich and you'll find out in Fallen Heir surprisingly sweet. Even though he's kind of cocky, he really is the whole package. Bonus, he's about to start his senior year which of course according to Easton, will be one non-stop party.

His year starts off with a literal bang, (Just ask Ms. Mann his math teacher). and good natured Easton expects it to just keep getting better from there. Only some people, like his dad, are expecting him to start growing up and he is not about that.

I need to pause for a minute and just give a shout out to Erin Watt, because Easton Royal reads exactly like an ADHD kid and I just loved that. I know it seems weird but, it explains so much about Easton and added a whole other dimension to his personality.  His impulsiveness, his addictive personality, it's all just, wow. So I'm not sure which if either of this writing team has ADHD, but kudos because the writing for Easton's character is so on point.

Okay, now back to Easton's story. After class with Ms. Mann, Easton runs into a new student, someone he's never seen before at Astor. Within seconds of meeting, Easton decides new girl is definitely not his type, too plain, not a good enough body and seemingly not one of those super easy girls that tend to gravitate his way. Hartley Wright is the exact opposite. She's definitely not charmed by Easton, or the Royal name at all. Of course this makes her way more interesting to Easton and begins his hardcore press to make Hartley want him.

So you might be thinking Fallen Heir is just going to be one big senior year party. You couldn't be more wrong. This book has some serious stuff going on. Hartley's story is truly heart breaking and just like Easton, you'll want to reach out and help her. But sometimes, even the best intentions come with tragic consequences.

It's not all sunshine and rainbows for Easton either. He fights with Ella, he fights with his dad and for the first time ever, begins to have doubts in himself. I almost forgot the ex that wants him back and a crazy girl who wants to pretend to date him. Again you'll just want to reach out to Easton and fix everything for him.

Just like the first three Royal stories, there are secrets to be found out and mysteries to solve. I don't know how I'll be able to wait for the next book because damn, there's so many questions that need answering. I feel like I'm rambling, but this book is so good and I want to tell you so much more. But I can't! If you've been living in a cave and haven't read any of this amazing series yet, omg go and one click them ALL now. If you've been waiting for Fallen Heir, start reading because this storyline is amazing!

If you're wondering, all the Royal boys make appearances in Fallen Heir (not enough Reed for me), but they pop up throughout the story. I'm going to share with you, those twins have piqued my interest. There is some story going on with them and I'm hoping to get me a Sawyer and Sebastian book soon. They're so young, but so naughty. I feel guilty having the feels for them I do since I have kids older than those boys. I blame it on the Royal charm.

If you're looking for a five star read, look no further. Fallen Heir is a fantastic read!

LA REVIEWS THE SCARS BETWEEN US...BY M.K. SCHILLER

She is the girl who lost everything.

I am the boy who never had anything.

It isn't often I read a book that makes me want to be a better person. MK Schiller's The Scars Between Us is one of those rare books that made me want to do just that.

Emma Cooper had every reason to be bitter and dark, but she wasn't. She found the good in everyone and every situation. She was light to other's darkness. Her kindness and compassion were truly beautiful. She may be one of my favorite book girls ever.

If Emma makes me want to be a better person, Aiden Sheffield makes me want to be very naughty. A former marine, who now makes a living rescuing abused dogs and fighting in Vegas. He is the kind of guy that women and men stop and stare at. Beautiful blue eyes, against dark hair and the body of a god, I am currently obsessed with him. Unfortunately, his personality does not match his physical beauty. The fighting may relieve some of his aggression, but it doesn't help the darkness in his soul.

I love this story because it is different from anything else I've read this summer. The story is gripping and never quite what you think it is. There are surprises and plot twists and it's just so good I couldn't put it down. I had to know what was going to happen.

The story begins with Emma and her mom going on a road trip. Mom wants Emma to carry out a task for her and for some reason it involves Aiden. When Emma meets Aiden he wants nothing to do with her. No explanation why, no reason, he just wants her gone and out of his life.

But in a story where everyone's keeping secrets, things rarely go as planned, Aiden winds up taking the trip to Linx, Texas with Emma. Linx, Texas, a place so horrible, Aiden swore he'd never go back.

Before they go to Linx, Aiden and Emma take a sort of road trip. They stop at several places and somewhere along the road they start to develop feelings for one another. Feelings that they try very hard not to act on, since Emma has a boyfriend in California.

As Aiden and Emma are on this road trip more about their backgrounds is revealed and the way their lives are intertwined will blow your mind! M.K. Schiller did a fantastic job weaving this story. I loved it from begin to end!

If you're wondering if there was any romance in The Scars Between Us, YES THERE WAS!! And it was amazing. Aiden Sheffield had me swooning like a school girl with just one kiss.

Five swooning stars for Aiden and The Scars Between Us. If you haven't one clicked it yet, do it now!!  Oh and if we could just get a frontal view of the cover model that would be great. Because from the side, he is one of the most beautiful creatures I've ever seen!!

EMILY'S REVIEW DRUNK DIAL...BY PENELOPE WARD

OMG!! I just finished this late last night, and I am in LOVE!!!  Landon Roderick is a seriously hot, tattooed, totally chill dude and yet totally alpha when it counts.  After receiving a drunk dial call from his childhood friend, he's totally open to talking and catching up with her... I love it!!!

Rana Saloomi. Yeah, I know, that name is too funny... And it totally fits her. Beautiful Rana Banana, as Landon called his childhood friend is a belly dancer, yet totally insecure and totally funny!!  How can someone who belly dances be insecure??  Trust me, Rana is sweet and vulnerable and so damn endearing. I totally want to hang with her!!

So, that drunk dial brought back a friendship between 2 kids and so much more. Living in Michigan and Cali Rana and Landon got to know each other again through flirty phone calls.  I loved how they had such a connection without having seen each other in so long, but both were keeping secrets... Secrets that were big. On both sides.

As the story unfolds and we begin to peel back the layers of Landon and Rana, their pasts clearly are getting in the way of their future, but only because they are keeping them hidden from each other!! Their relationship grows and develops so naturally, it was really beautiful.

Secrets are revealed, and then revealed again. Rana and Landon have to battle with their pasts and their own demons to keep their relationship together. I found these scenes especially endearing because they talked and thought about things but didn't run. Their maturity and behavior was very admirable!!

So many obstacles to overcome, so many secrets to be uncovered and so much love and sexiness.  I read this book in one sitting. There was no way I couldn't find out what they were keeping from each other and how they would get through this!!!  Not everything is always perfect, and life is tough and I swear they are better people because of this!!

So 5 honest lip smacks to Penelope Ward and Drunk Dial... Hey, maybe we should try it sometime, ya never know!!!

REVIEW WITH LA....ENRAGE BY RACHEL VAN DYKEN

Holy Organized Crime Batman! I have one word (okay, many words) for Rachel Van Dyken's Enrage, the latest book in the Eagle Elite series, and it's BRILLIANT!!!

Rachel literally hit the ball out of the park with Enrage. I don't know how she does it, but every book in this series just keeps getting better! There are series that after a few books you're kind of meh. NOT. THIS. SERIES! I couldn't wait to get my hands on Enrage.

Before Enrage was released, I did some rereads of the other books in the series. I love them even more now than I did when they were brand new to me. Then I started Enrage and Rachel had me captivated and unable to put this book down. The storyline is fantastic, the details are perfection and the plot twist is unbelievable. This is one of those series that could go on forever. I would buy every single book and not care one drop about the price!

Enrage is the story of Dante Alfero and El Petrov. I know the Italians and the Russians right? It starts out the way you think, Italians and Russians against each other. The goal in this book is to make sure Dante accepts his spot in the family as the head of the Alfero family. Trace's grandpa is getting older and he's trying to right a huge wrong he created back in the day.

These five mob bosses are young and hot and bring fear into the hearts of those who would go up against them. I love that all the characters play a big part in all of the stories and Enrage is no different. From the guys "training" Dante, to family dinners, I can't get enough of them.

I've been reading this series from the start and of course I've fallen in love many times during the course of the stories. I was a Nixon girl for a minute, until I met Chase. Chase has been my favorite forever. He's hot. He's funny and loyal to a fault. And then I met Dante. Big, built, gorgeous, blue eyed, black haired Dante. At first I didn't think I'd like Dante. He's got so much anger and at the start of Enrage. He's cruel to El and says the most horrible things to her.

As they get to know each other, of course feelings start to change. When this couple acts on their attraction...the hotness factor goes from hot to blistering. With one kiss, Dante turned me into a melted puddle of goo. His physical description alone is enough to set any girl on fire. But Dante's kiss? Mama Mia! I couldn't breathe! El is definitely not the girl Dante thought she was. And Dante? He is everything you could possibly imagine and more. He seriously gives Chase a run for the money in hotness. Dante just exudes a sexiness that once again makes me wish fictional characters could be real.

If you've been reading the series expect all your favorite characters to be involved in family drama, witness the crowning of a new family head and deception so painful it hurts. Yes, I cried. I cried a lot.

Even with that being said, I loved Enrage and this entire series. Rachel writes a story that flows perfectly, you can't put down and has the incredible ability to make you fall completely in love with, um, murdering mob bosses. It's ok when it's for honor. I promise.

Five shooting (get it?) stars for Enrage and my favorite mob family ever!

REVIEW TIME WITH LA BULLY...BY PENELOPE DOUGLAS

I have a confession to make (don't judge). I just read the book Bully by Penelope Douglas last week. I know what you're thinking. L? How could you miss out on such an awesome book for all this time. The truth is, I don't know how I missed reading it. The good news is, I FINALLY DID and omg what an amazing read!!

Let's talk about the physical description of Jared Trent. It actually made my heart beat a little faster. Dark hair, dark intense eyes. The intensity of his gaze penetrated into my soul and I never even saw him. His personality so brooding and intense that he's still in my brain and I finished Bully about a week and a half ago.

Jarred doesn't start out a swoon worthy, perfect boyfriend. He started out as a jerk. He was a bully. A Horrible bully. He treated Tate (or Tatum as he called her) terribly, so badly she went away junior
year to study abroad. He played a sick game with Tate, putting her down, turning people against her, he completely embodied the meaning of the word bully.

It's something Tate can't understand, because until the summer of the year they were thirteen they were best friends. They were together all the time. Sneaking across their backyards to hang out at night, Jared helped Tate put back together the pieces after her mother passed away. Now going into their senior year, they are bitter enemies. Only this time Tate doesn't plan on being Jared's punching bag.

This time Tate plans on evening the score and every time she retaliates against something Jared does to her, her brain tells her, this is how a bully is born. But, because of how good that whole getting back at Jared thing feels, every time he pushes, she pushes back.  Until one time she pushes too hard.

There were a lot, I repeat a lot of shitty things Jared did to Tate in Bully. But when Tate finally breaks Jared. IT. WAS. GUT. WRENCHING. I cried for Jared, I cried for Tate and I cried because everything was finally out in the open. Well almost everything. Because if you are like me and haven't read Bully, I'm leaving you the best parts to discover.

Okay, I'll share one because it was just so super hot. There's a kiss between Jared and Tate. A kiss filled with pent up anger and desperation. A kiss that was soooooooo hot, I had to stand in front of the AC. At that moment all I thought about was how much I wanted to be Tate.

I love Penelope Douglas' writing and I honestly don't know why it took me so long to get to read Bully. But, I can also tell you I won't ever wait long again. Like all Penelope's books don't get to comfortable, because there's always a twist around the corner.

I can't imagine you haven't read it, but just in case, go and one click or buy Bully ASAP! I'm obsessed with this book!

Five super swooning stars for Jared and Bully.

REVIEW TIME!!! FIREFLY...BY MOLLY MCADAMS

You know you always have that one author that no matter what you're reading, if their book comes out, you drop everything and read it? Everybody has one. Mine is Molly McAdams. And yes I stopped what I was reading because Firefly appeared on my Kindle and well, I HAD TO READ IT.

In case you don't know, Firefly is the second book in Molly's Redemption series. It's a departure from the usual Molly. But I promise it is absolutely fantastic. I loved the first book, but omg Firefly just blew me away.

Lily O'Sullivan is an Irish mob princess. She lives a lonely life trapped in the guest house on her family's land. Forever waiting for the love of her life, Kieran. Kieran who lived to protect Lily. Kieran who changed so much over four years Lily began to question their love.

The life she lives is not a life she embraces. Her father Mickey is a terrible man. He keeps Lily a prisoner and never shows her fatherly love. She is a pawn in her dad's sick game and her only hope is  to run from the life style she's grown to hate.

She finds solace in her weekly trips to a shop in town. It's here where a gorgeous dark haired, dark eyed stranger catches her attention. For two years the two of them never speak. But this mysterious creature begins to consume Lily's everything thought. And let me tell you he consumed my thoughts as well. Dare. His name is Dare and I love him. That's me talking not Lily.

I want to tell you so much about this book, but I can't. I need you to one click Firefly asap. Molly's writing is absolutely perfect. They story has suspense. It has angst, sadness and of course love.

Once again Molly gives us a love triangle that will have us arguing whether Lily should give her love to Kieran or Dare. To me the love interests represent light and dark and I promise you'll wonder who is truly dark up until the very end.

I love how Molly puts the story together. You're never really sure where the loyalties of some major players lie. You never get comfortable for too long because Molly always has you wondering, what's going to happen next. The story is an intricate web that twists and turns. You wonder and you question, but you never really know for sure. I read this book in one sitting because, there was never a time I wanted to put Firefly down. I wanted to know everything and when I was done, I wanted more.

I feel like I made a connection between Blackbird and Firefly, but I can't be sure until the rest of the series comes out. Let me know if you see it after you read.

If Firefly is not on your TBR, put it there. If you one clicked it already, drop everything and read it now. Molly, even though you crushed my soul with Chase Grayson, you are my "author" and I adore you.

Five brightly shining stars for Firefly.

IT'S REVIEW TIME!! LOST LOVE....BY KELLY ELLIOTT

Oh Kelly Elliot, I have loved you since Gunner Mathews called Ellie Johnson sweetheart before he even knew her. I read and loved that entire series and well basically everything you've written since then.

Of course Kelly posted she was coming out with the Cowboys & Angels series, I couldn't wait for it to come out. And I will share with you, Kelly Elliot does not disappoint in Lost Love.

As much I try to deny it, I am truly I romantic at heart. So insta-love and second chances get me every time. And Lost Love is just that, a story of young love that was lost and the long road home to find that love again.

Let me give you a quick session on the Parker family. They are an extremely wealthy Texas family. There are five brothers and two sisters. Each brother better looking than the other and sisters that are drop dead gorgeous.

Lost Love is Steed Parker's story. He is beautiful with a body that made me drool from description alone. All I wanted to do was run my hands over his abs. Basically Steed Parker makes women stop and stare. Steed rivals Gunner Mathews in the romance department, but for me, it will always be Gunner. Obviously he's an incredible catch, but he's coming home on a mission and that mission is to win back the love of his life.

Paxton Monroe is that love. They were together all through high school. They were the "it" couple. But an unexpected event during their senior year tore them apart. Back then, when Steed tried to make it right, Paxton pushed him away. Steed believed she really wanted him gone. So he left.

For ten years Steed stayed away. He'd sneak back home from time to time to see his family, but it wasn't the same. Now he's back for good and he with his adorable daughter Chloe. He's back in Texas to give Chloe a home surrounded by people who love her. He's also back to make amends with Paxton. If she'll let him.

After a disaster of a first meeting, Steed really amps up the charm. He's so sweet and romantic that you hope he'll quickly knock down Paxton's walls and she'll let him back in. But, Pax is hurt, and she's not about to let the man who broke back into her heart.

The only problem with resisting is the chemistry between Steed and Paxton is blazing hot. As much as she hates him and believe me in the beginning she does hate him, she can't deny her physical attraction to him.

There are a lot of tears when Steed and Pax talk about the past ten years. Steed wants to go right back to where they left off and Paxton isn't ready for that.

I love how close the Parker family is in Lost Love. You can feel their love for each other and know they's do just about anything to help each other. I love how everyone takes in hand in helping with Chloe. And I adore how sweet Steed is with Chloe. She hasn't had a very good first five years and Steed will do anything to make her happy.

Kelly Elliott can just write a really good story. I love her descriptive language, I love her story lines, and I love the way she puts things in place so you have a hint of what's coming up next in the series.

I'm looking forward to the rest of the Parker boys and girls stories. I have a feeling Waylynn's might be a heart breaker.

And yes Kelly Elliott as I read Lost Love I felt like I died and went to cowboy heaven. Keep them coming because cowboys are my new thing.

Four shooting stars for Kelly Elliott and Lost Love.
