I'M BACK BECAUSE HOW COULD I NOT REVIEW EULOGY BY RACHEL VAN DYKEN?

I admit it. I'm one of those people. You know, the people who are fascinated with all things Mafia, Organized Crime, The Cosa Nostra, Il Nero Mano. I've seen The Godfather (only parts one and two) more times than I should probably admit. Goodfellas, (You talkin to me?) maybe a few times less. Do I know they're essentially the bad guys? Yup. It doesn't do anything to deter my fascination, and I suspect I'm not the only one.

So when I discovered Rachel Van Dyken's Eagle Elite series, I was pulled into the Abandonato Family from the very first page. It is a series I will never tire of. When Rachel Van Dyken writes these characters and their stories, she truly brings them to life.

Eulogy is no different from any of the other books. After the heart wrenching end of Enrage, I didn't think anything could possibly fix my broken heart. How was I going to wait until FEBRUARY to find out the rest of Chase's story??

With that being said, the second Eulogy hit my Kindle, I put down what I was reading and put myself back in the world of the Abandonatos. I can't even explain the feelings I had through this story. My emotions were everywhere, I read the entire story feeling like I was on the edge. On the edge of tears, on the edge of frustration, thinking to myself how is Rachel going to fix this mess? Guess what? She did. The parts of you that were broken at the end of Enrage are put back together, of course not until Rachel keeps you on the edge up until the very end.

Have I mentioned the love I have for Chase Abandonato? Because from the first book in the Eagle Elite series, HE. WAS. MINE! He might seem crazy, but he loves his people fiercely and that in and of itself is sexy. But, Chase has so much more. He's drop dead, (no pun intended) model gorgeous and he's funny as hell.

But it's not just hot Chase that got me. You become invested in every character in the series. Every generation has a story to tell. The families of Eagle Elite are all insanely passionate, comical and yes even crazy, which only makes them more interesting.

I am so happy that I found this series. I'm in to the eighth or ninth book now and they have never once lost my attention. If you by some crazy act of God have not yet discovered the Eagle Elite series, my suggestion is to get right on it. You'll laugh, you'll cry and I guarantee you'll fall in love with at least one of the boys.

Eulogy gets a bangin 5 stars from me. As long as Rachel writes Eagle Elite books, I'll be reading them.
