Tattooed Dots by Kimberly Knight

The first thing you notice in Tattooed Dots is Easton Crawford is the farthest thing ever from a good book boyfriend. Sure he's uber hot and oozes sex appeal, but really that's it. Easton is in the middle of a divorce trial with his high school sweetheart Dana. They got married right out of high school and along came baby Cheyenne. Easton gave up going to college and playing baseball to be a husband and dad. He did neither one well. Modeling to make extra money, Easton became a huge man whore. Cheating on Dana all the time and more importantly, not being a good dad to his peanut, the marriage ends up in divorce court. Even during the divorce proceedings Easton acts like a douche rocket, getting caught by his ex banging his divorce attorney. 

Easton is really not appealing until....plot twist (and no I'm not telling you what it is).   

Fast forward five years. Easton now a single dad is trying to do a good job raising his daughter Cheyenne. With the help of his parents and his best friend Avery he's being a dad that's worthy of his young daughter's love.

Unfortunately, he's still a man whore. He doesn't date, he basically hooks up with skanks he picks up in the bar that he and Avery have opened. Both Easton and Avery are hot guys and clearly have their pick of women. It seems Avery is ready to meet "the one" and talks Easton into taking a singles cruise with him. Avery will be looking for Ms. Right and Easton will continue to have meaningless sex with Ms. Right Now....

Enter Brooke Bradley. Everything about the girl screams caregiver. She has raised her younger sister Bailee from the time Bailee was a young child. Their mother has dedicated her life to finding the next wealthy man to take care of her while she ignores her daughters. Daughters that have no idea who their real fathers are and who really only have each other.

Brooke is also taking care of her good for nothing boyfriend Jared. Jared is the epitome of who not to have a relationship with. Even though they've been together for years, Jared shows no sign of taking their relationship to the next level. He's lazy, unmotivated and you know from the start Brooke is too good for him. Little sister Bailee and best friend Nicole don't approve of Jared at all.

Nicole being a fabulous best friend, gets Brooke a ticket for her birthday to go on a week long singles cruise with her. 

Low and behold our girls wind up on the same singles cruise as our hotties Easton and Avery. The attraction between Easton and Brooke is instant. They have chemistry from the start. Brooke being Brooke tells Easton she has a boyfriend and only came on the cruise to keep Nicole company. Oh and before I forget, Avery and Nicole....totally smitten with each other.

Brooke is totally attracted to Easton. Who wouldn't be? He sounds blazing hot. But even though she knows her and Jared are at the end of their relationship, she doesn't want karma to come around and kick her in the ass. 

So Brooke decides to help Easton find a woman. Only guess what? The only woman Easton wants is Brooke. They spend all their time together on the cruise, which is good because Avery and Nicole are having a lot of freakin hot sex.

Finally, the last night of the cruise Brooke can't resist and she and Easton share a kiss that knocks her senseless. And it also freaks her out. She sneaks off without saying goodbye the next day, but knows she wants Easton.

The whole love thing is new for Easton. When his brain tells him that he's in love with Brooke, I melted. Of course he's devastated when Brooke leaves the cruise without talking to him. She leaves him a note that says she needs time. After the amazing time they had on the cruise, I don't know how much time I'd want to be away from Easton.

Will our would be lovers find their way back to each other? What will happen to Jared? Do Avery and Nicole stay together? And where the hell does the title Tattooed Dots come from?

I'm only going to say one thing......read it! Halfway in I fell in love with Easton. I was rooting for him and Brooke the whole time. There's more to this story than meets the eye.
